Edwina Douglas

Edwina Douglas was born in Maryland. Her singing career began at a very young age and she has been hitting the stage ever since. Edwina earned her ARCTs in both teaching & performance. You may find her performing vocal adjudication at festivals and competitions, or when not adjudicating she is one very busy accompanist.

Her private voice studio and her teaching style have certainly earned her a wonderful reputation as one of the very best. Being an amazing vocal diagnostician is a terrific talent but...you should see her perfoming live on stage...Wow!

Edwina has directed numerous music productions over the years and was the creator of “Bravado!” Recent summer projects have included Edwina enjoying her role as musical director for Theatre By the Bay’s summer season Main Company production of “Glorious” and She now happily marked her fifth season with Theatre By the Bay’s Young Company in their production of “Peter Pan.” Edwina also enjoyed her role as musical director for Wolfworks’ production of “Sleeping Beauty” presented at Casa Loma for their December holiday program. As musical director for Moving Art’s Triple Threat program, Edwina worked on the production of “Once On This Island”. A number of musicals produced by Kempenfelt Community Player have benefitted from her role as musical director.

Edwina formed “Marmalade” in September, 2006, and just loves the collaborative role she plays as director/singer/keyboardist within this unique vocal team..... and what a director she is!!
